From The Presidents Desk
Presidents Letter March 2009
I would like to thank Joe Silva and his staff for welcoming VMOA and Norcal Shelby to there open house. Custom Alignment has a very knowledgeable staff. I learned quite a bite on Saturday morning.
I would also like to thank Ken Mannina for arranging the Lemans karting night. We had a great turn out from Norcal Shelby and our own Distinguished Star racers from VMOA. I have to tell everyone that if you have not gone to Lemans karting, you are missing out on an extremely fun evening. That was my first time I have raced there and I am sorry I missed all the other karting nights, what a blast. Again Thank you Ken.
Where does the time go. After work I coach high school girls softball and I am always telling my girls that you must manage you time between homework, softball and personal life. I am going to have to take my own advice and learn how to manage my time. It seems like last week I was sitting down trying to write the presidents letter for February. Now its crunch time and I need to get the letter done by this weekend. One day you wake up and it’s the end of February. So many activities in our daily lives that you forget to do some things. Thank god for smart phones. I have a 1965 Fastback project in my where house that time has gotten away from. I never ever have the time to work on, just too many other things going on in our busy schedules. One of these days, I plan on getting that fastback on the road again. Only time will tell. Respectfully submitted
Steve Chapman, President VMOA
