President’s letter June 2009

  June is here and so is our fabulous car show at De Anza College. I hope everyone has their car prepped and polished for the big event. And I hope everyone has their walking shoes prepped and polished. Because you the volunteers are how we pull this BIG event off. Starting in the early morning hours of setup through registration to parking and awards ceremonies to tear down and clean-up it all takes volunteers. And I am glad to see at every general meeting that the volunteer sign – up sheet always fills up with names. We will also be handing out volunteer duties the closer we get to the show date. I will make it a point to meet and greet all club members and non members at the show.

P.S. There will be a Car show meeting and awards assembly on 6/16/09 @ 7:00 p.m. at Mike Howard Garage Doors show room. The address is 479 Salmar Ave. Campbell 95008 (408) 378-5409 Cross street is Hwy. 17 and Hamilton Ave. Just behind Home Depot and Fry’s.
