President’s letter November 2009

Poker Run 10/17/09
With another great turnout of VMOA members and Guest’s, the poker run is rapidly turning into one of our clubs favorite events of the year. Perfect weather for a short drive, considering just 4 days before we had some of the heaviest rains of the year, with some rainfall totals being broken for this time of the year. We had a total of 24 cars. A record Number of cars and members. Thank you to Mary & Phil Deardorf for all their time arranging this event. Again going above and beyond to make this event GREAT.

Elections are fast approaching for VMOA officer and board positions for 2010.

I will be looking to our membership for individuals to fill these positions. I will be Also looking for a few good people to head up the Nominating Committee.

VMOA Holiday Party and Elections. The VMOA December General Meeting will be our 2009 holiday party and gift exchange. The meeting will be held at the Nor Cal Shelby Clubhouse. Located at 790 East Duane Ave. Sunnyvale. The December meeting we will be electing Officers and Board members. So be thinking about running or nominating a close friend or family member. This is also our yearly Gift Donation for the Santa Clara Children’s Shelter. Please bring an unwrapped toy with you to the Party.
